Most relied upon
Seals -- May only be inserted on the coast. Searches grid square with excellent reliability. Chance of compromise is possible and team must be extracted from the grid for 1 or more turns
Spy -- Searches any region with excellent reliability but with limited mobility
UAV -- May search any row with good reliability. There is a chance it may crash or be shot down failing to search the entire row is so. There is a variable probability it is replaced by next turn.
Spec Ops -- May be inserted to search any grid square with excellent reliability. Can reliably distinguish between deception and launchers. Chance of compromise is possible and team must be extracted from the grid for 1 or more turns.
Manned Aircraft -- Searches the coastal grid squares with excellent reliability and 2 rows inland with reduced reliability. Must rest one turn between flights.
Recon Satellite -- searches one entire column, high probability of confirming the absence of vehicles but cannot reliably distinguish between launchers and dummies.
Sig Int -- Examines a region for increased communications chatter, but cannot reliably distinguish between launchers and deception operations.
