Purpose of this Research: The research aims to understand game play strategies and behaviors.
What You Will Be Asked
to Do in this Research:
Risks and Discomforts: We don't expect there to be any
risks or discomforts.
Benefits of the Research and
Benefits to You: There
will not be any direct benefit to you. However, you will have the opportunity
to play a new game. You may learn more about the use of such technologies. You may
also have an impact on the design and development of future games.
Compensation. You will be compensated for your
time with a gift certificate in the amount $0.5+(virtually gained points*$1).
Withdrawal from the
Study: You can
withdraw your participation in the study at any time, for any reason, if you decide.
In the event you withdraw from the study, all data associated with your session
will be immediately destroyed wherever possible.
Confidentiality: All data will be safely stored on
a secure server, hosted by our research group. The research data will only be
used by research staff to understand and develop behavior models.
Please note that your answers will be kept by a secured server hosted by the research team
located in the USA and as such is subject to U.S. laws.
