Here you will make a series of choices between two alternatives. You may earn tokens. The tokens will be converted to cash that will be paid to you at the end of the session.

The sample screen shows the kind of choices you will make. With each choice, you can choose a red or blue card - or you can choose to receive a payment for sure. Above the cards, you can see how many cards are in each deck. Below the cards appears the number of tokens you will earn if you choose the right color. If you do not select the right color, you will earn nothing. On the right you can see how much you will earn if you choose to receive a payment for sure.

In the example on the left, there are two decks, one of 10 red cards and one of 10 blue cards. If the color you choose is the right color, you will earn 10 tokens. If the color you choose is not the right color, you will earn nothing. If you choose a payment for sure, you will earn 3 tokens.

You will always know how many cards are in the deck, but sometimes you will only know the total number of cards - you will not know how many cards of each color are in the deck. The example on the right shows this case. In this example, there are 20 cards, some of them are red and some of them are blue. You will not know how many of each color. Again, you choose between red, blue, or a payment for sure.

This game has multiple rounds. Each round may have a different numbers of cards and different amounts of tokens to be earned.

After all rounds are finished, we will randomly choose one of the rounds. We will also randomly choose a color. Then, we will look at the choice you made in that round. If the color that we chose matches the color that you chose, you earn the number of tokens that was displayed in that round. If it is not, you earn no tokens. If you chose a payment for sure, you receive the number of tokens that was shown in that round.
