We will only use this to send you invitations for each survey and information about this research. Your name and contact information will NOT be linked to your survey data. Once you provide your information, you will be taken to the first survey.
Your consent is being sought for participation in a research project, and your participation is voluntary. You must be at least 18 years old to take this survey. The purpose of the research is to understand opinions regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. This survey should take no more than 15 minutes. You do not have to participate and you can refuse to answer any question. You can stop at any time. There are no foreseeable risks or discomforts to you for taking part in this study. Your part in this study will be handled in a confidential manner, and if you choose to contribute social media information, those data will be stored separately from your survey response. Any reports or publications based on this research will use only group data and will not identify you or any individual as being affiliated with this project.
If you participate, you will have the opportunity to complete several similar follow-up surveys. You will be contacted through Mechanical Turk when more HITs are available to you.
