In this game, you will see a large lot of land. Under the sand, there may be oil reservoirs. Some reservoirs are deeper or wider than others. You can't know where reservoirs lay just by looking at the sand. The only way to find oil is by drilling, and you will have 10 opportunities to drill. Your success in finding oil will determine your score.
Other people will be playing the game at the same time as you. At time, you may be able to see where they drilled and/or how much oil they got for drilling. They might also be able to see where you drilled and how much you got. If you drill in the same spot as someone else you will receive the same amount of oil, In other words, oil is not divided by the number of people drilling in the same spot.
For each patch of land, you will have 15 rounds of drilling.
You will have 30 seconds for each round.
The game will move to the next round once every player has drilled or the time is up. If the time passes before you choose a place to drill, you will get no points for that round, which will be seen as an empty bar with a red "X" in the middle.
